Keeping solids off the bottom and producing the same concentration everywhere are different suspension requirements.
Define the Process Model
EKATO’s mixing-task explanation distinguishes complete suspension from homogeneous distribution. A bottom region can remain mobilized while a concentration gradient persists above it. State the required result in terms of the actual withdrawal, reaction or processing task rather than using “suspended” as an undefined approval word.
Compare a Hypothetical Case
Consider an invented vessel observation showing no persistent deposit at its base. Samples from the upper, middle and lower levels nevertheless contain 8, 10 and 12 g/L solids. The bottom observation supports one requirement; it does not establish the second requirement of 10 g/L at all three sampled locations. A specified allowable concentration range would need its own acceptance decision.
Complete the Engineering Review
Record whether the task is bottom mobilization, a defined suspension height or spatial concentration agreement. Mark observation locations and the withdrawal point. Keep the observation interval and sample handling consistent so particles do not settle between collection and analysis. Ask for evidence at the relevant loading and fluid properties, including the restart state if that state belongs to the process.
Use the processing-tank page with the actual required suspension result. The example is not an HM trial or an acceptance tolerance. A precise requirement prevents a satisfactory bottom observation from being silently reported as proof of uniform composition throughout the vessel.
