An overall group-mean test can show evidence of a difference somewhere without identifying every pair. Preserve that scope in the trial conclusion.
The statistical question
A one-way ANOVA evaluates an overall hypothesis about the population means associated with levels of one factor. Evidence against equal means does not identify which pair differs or establish that every group differs from every other. Pairwise or planned comparisons are separate questions. The relevant sampling, independence, variance and model assumptions still belong to the report.
An illustrative review example
Imagine trial summaries at three authorized settings with observed means of 99.8,100.1 and 101.0 g. An overall analysis might establish evidence against equal population means, but the means by themselves do not supply pairwise uncertainty. A report stating that all three settings differ would add a conclusion not contained in the omnibus result. These fictional averages demonstrate reporting scope and say nothing about an actual HM trial or accepted fill tolerance.
Prepare the evidence for discussion
Keep the factor name, level definitions, raw group readings, sample quantities and complete analysis output. State the planned engineering comparisons before interpreting an overall finding. If only the new setting versus an approved baseline matters, retain that comparison as its own agreed question. Make the written conclusion match the tested hypothesis, and identify any further analysis required before attributing a specific difference to a setting.

Customer Questions
What does one-way mean?
The grouping concerns levels of one factor in the analysis.
Does an overall result identify the differing pair?
No. It evaluates the overall equal-means hypothesis; pair-specific conclusions require the relevant comparisons.
Can means alone establish a statistical difference?
Group sizes, within-group variation, sampling design and the applicable analysis are also required.
